CROWDER PERFORMED AT THE ARK ENCOUNTER IN KENTUCKY ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER SIX ON THE LAST NIGHT OF THE FORTY DAYS OF CHRISTIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL. HE ENTERED THE STAGE ON A MOBILITY SCOOTER ON WHICH HE PROCEEDED TO PLAY THE ENTIRE SHOW. DURING HIS SET, CROWDER SHARED THE STORY OF HOW HE BROKE HIS LEG.

Sound bite from David Crowder.

“We were out grilling. We were grilling some meats, and we were out at the lake and the topography there is quite steep. And off of the top we were using this Green Egg. There’s this little smoke stack on top. You regulate the airflow to get that sweet meat chemistry going. What happened was we opened the thing and the regulator fell off over the balcony down the little cliff. And I’m looking down there, I’m like, ‘I can totally get that. Hold my tongs!’ I couldn’t get that.”
